Description
Japanese Graded Readers（にほんご よむよむ文庫）meet the need of the learners of Japanese who want to learn and enjoy reading/listening in Japanese. Each reader is written and edited with care to every detail so you can enjoy reading and absorb tons of Japanese without a dictionary.
‘Tadoku’ simply means reading a lot of easy and interesting books at your own pace. Just follow the four rules to thoroughly enjoy reading in Japanese:
1. Start from scratch 2. Don’t use a dictionary 3. Skip over difficult words, phrases and passages. 4. When the going gets tough, quit reading and pick up a new book.
: Five levels for the biginning to intermediate learners. Ranges from folk tales, fiction, biographies, history, and culture.
: Every kanji has its reading printed next to it, and also every katakana up to Level 3.
: Vocabulary and grammar are controlled throughout.
: Vocabulary outside the control list are made clear through paraphrasing and/or illustrations.
: CD recording with sound effects makes reading, listening and shadowing much fun．
(LEVEL 1)
Early beginner level or Level 5 of Japanese Language Proficiency Test(JLPT) with approx. 400 to 1,500 characters per book. Use the same 350-words vocabulary as Level 0 and です and ます endings. Same vocabulary and grammar as Level 0 in longer stories.
